• There is something about the description of the picnic in 'The Wind in the Willows' that sticks with the imagination. The line "The other animals tell me I'm a mean beast and cut it very fine!" was in common vernacular among my sisters and I. I wanted to capture the abundance and summery feel of that picnic... all the way down to the mustard.
