Robin Hominiuk Works

Robin Hominiuk
Bio: Robin Marie Hominiuk was born in Calgary, Alberta and grew up in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada). Trained in the field of accounting, she always knew that someday she would be a potter. After a series of classes in clay, she set up a studio at home and worked on her own as time allowed. It took a move to the United States in 1998 and the start of grade one for her young son to finally have the time to pursue a pottery career full time. Several master classes in ceramics, the building of a home studio and an invitation to participate in a wood firing changed the course of how she worked in clay. Her work is now fired in anagama kilns, typically firing 3-5 times per year.
