Oleg was classically trained in the Odessa School of Art and worked as a restoration oil painter at the Odessa Restoration of Fine Arts. Over a decade ago he moved to Ridgefield, Washington where he and his family still live to this day. As a dedicated plein air artist, Oleg prefers to work outside in the elements painting often times for hours on end to capture the light and atmosphere of his subjects. Many of his plein air pieces are studies for larger pieces he will create once he is back in his studio. Oleg’s work has garnered numerous awards over the years and he has built a dedicated following of collectors throughout the Northwest and beyond.
